You can only change the things you have control of. I’m watching the news right now. Imbeciles stuck on I 95 in VA. Why?

Because they decided to drive in weather that was known to be harsh. Virginia is not known to be able to deal well with snow. And they predicted a foot of snow, which came.

I happened to be in Virginia the night before. And I changed my itinerary and left hours ahead of time. And left before the first snowflakes fell.

Why? It wasn’t fear. It was common sense.
