Sight Beyond Sight

The charade is disgusting.

At the cardiology department I sit. Feeling guilty that I pummeled myself into being there. And realizing that I feel twice as guilty because I am digging my way out of being there.

Tonight’s dinner?

A blackened hunk of tuna rare inside and seasoned and sliced to perfection over a bed of romaine with bacon, egg, cheese tomato and homemade parm/caesar dressing. A dinner loaded with fat and salt. And some carbs in the dressing.

Blood sugar prior to dinner 101. at 2 hours after? 125.

I also had 2 carbs worth of chewing gum in the last hour, which may be attributed to the rise in blood glucose.

The charade?

The bullshit move they use to attempt to get us to take medicine that will have serious impact on us, while not providing the benefits they claim are there.

More on the subject if anyone actually reads this.
