And she inspired me to continue writing and fighting high blood sugar.
Her story was, and I don’t want to say “typical”. But is all too common.

She is in constant fear of going high or low. And she has diabetic complications- which made her completely blind in one eye and is in danger of losing the other.
She gets a shot in her eye every 6 weeks. She is in terrible shape and barely 40 years old.
And she is scared to go low carb, and scared to work on normalizing her A1c.
She wants to live, she wants to work, and have a good life.
