On the Regular

Thought is the most important action you can take. It is the precursor for action. Action is the catalyst for change. What is your motivation?

MAYBE YOU DON’T WANT TO NEED TO INJECT INSULIN TO LIVE.

MAYBE YOU DON’T WANT TO BECOME A BURDEN TO YOUR FAMILY.

MAYBE YOU DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOUR CAREER.

MAYBE YOU DON’T WANT TO DIE EARLY.

MAYBE YOU DON’T WANT TO SUFFER DIABETIC COMPLICATIONS.

MAYBE YOU DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOUR FEET.

MAYBE YOU WANT THE BEST LIFE YOU CAN HAVE.

That is a hell of a lot of maybes, Possibly you have one of many other maybes. Whatever the motivation is- being ill becomes a prison. Thinking- daily- about what you are going to eat, why you are going to eat it, and what the effects of straying toward the food junkyard will be- over the long haul.

The food junkyard puts your body into the medical wasteland. Go to any group endocrinology office. Get there an hour before your visit. You will see the grotesque manifestations of this disease- and the immense amount of suffering that other people gp through because they don’t know any better. They don’t know how to think, and don’t want to think- because FEAR rules their lives- and FEAR is a very strong emotion.

They FEAR having to give up junkyard foods that they are addicted to. They blame their failing eyesight on the disease. They blame their missing limbs on their genetics. They blame their need for oxygen and insulin and a wheelchair on something or someone else. The truth is simple- they live in fear of change- and allow that fear to overcome common sense. The bad things that have happened to them already- the figure they cannot go back from there, an amputated toe leads to an amputated foot, an amputated foot leads to an amputated leg. Because they do not think, ON THE REGULAR.

I have a person that is pissed off at me, because he believe that I should have become a doctor. We argue once in a while. He tells me that I am wasting my time writing about, and thinking about T2D and the related issues that create it. He believes that people will not change their eating habits.

I believe that people are not given the education, or the option to decide what is best for them.

I do not want to become a doctor, nor do I search for fame or fortune on the internet. You will not find images of ME as a person anywhere on this site. I value your health as much as I value my privacy. My maybes? I have addressed them and answered them and the result is continued thought.

WHY NOT BECOME A DOCTOR?

I am not into working in a corporate environment. I despise politics. I do not want to kow-tow to people dumber than I am- or do their work in order to earn a living. I do not serve a corporate master, never have, never will. As an independent, small business person- I have had to weather the storms and make a living working harder than if I sold my soul to a corporation.

I am fiercely independent and if I help only ONE SINGLE PERSON beat their T2D. Then my results are 100% than that of the modern corporate medical practitioner.

I have already proved that it can be done- I did it for myself. Now the question is how many of you can help yourselves- once you are successful, you are going to want to spread the word and help others.
